Day 1: Arrival to the Black Forest
After arrival, check in at your hotel in the Black Forest. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Freiburg and Lake Titisee
Today’s itinerary takes you at first on a guided city tour to discover Freiburg. You can see the gothic Cathedral “Unsere Liebe Frau” and the idyllic little squares and alleys which are characteristic of Freiburg. Then undertake an excursion to the Black Forest starting through the romantic Höllental valley. The serpentine panoramic road through rocks and forest leads to Lake Titisee, a picturesque little lake originating from glacial activity during the ice ages. During a short trip you can catch magnificent panoramic views. In the afternoon you will have time to visit Titisee village, famous for its handcrafted cuckoo clocks. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 3: The German Route of Clocks
Today’s excursion takes you right into the heart of the Black Forest browsing interesting attractions regarding the history of the Black Forest clock. The route offers a general vision regarding international metering of time and has quite clear that the cuckoo clock, being the symbol of the Black Forest, has not lost a bit of its fascination. Now that you are here, do not miss the largest cuckoo clock in the world which, on the way from Triberg towards Schönberg, has also made its way into the Guiness Book of Records with its 15 meters of hight. And – time allowing – do not miss the local delicacies, such as the strong fir smoked Black Forest ham, the substancial rye bread, the cherry or plum liqueur and the famous Black Forest gateau.

Day 4: Excursion to Baden-Baden
After a rich breakfast you will start a full day excursion to Baden-Baden, an ele-
gant und luxurious spa town in the Northern Black Forest, famous for its Casino. After a guided city tour you will have some free time. In the early afternoon you will return to your hotel following the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse with stop at lake Mummelsee in the midst of a beautiful landscape. You will have some time to discover the landscape on your own and of course for a cup of coffee and the famous cake “Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte”, the Black Forest gateau. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation in your hotel.

Day 5: Departure after Breakfast
