Selected Sites along the Romantic Road

Day 1: Heidelberg
After check in, enjoy a guided tour of Heidelberg and its narrow streets, the picturesque town centre and the mighty castle ruins. Dinner and accommodation in your hotel.

Day 2: Heidelberg – Rothenburg ob der Tauber
After breakfast continue your journey to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the historic towns along the Romantic Road. After check in, find out more about this former imperial town during a guided tour. In the evening you visit the nearby Dinkelsbühl where the “Dinkelsbühler Dreigestirn” – the sutler, the night guard and the solo trumpeter will welcome you in the traditional fashion. Dinner and accommodation in the Rothenburg ob der Tauber area.

Day 3: Rothenburg ob der Tauber – Augsburg – Füssen/Schwangau
Today you will follow the Romantic Road to the ancient Fugger town of Augsburg via Nördlingen, Harburg and Donauwörth. A sightseeing tour will reveal the most important places of interest. Continue your tour along the Southern Romantic Road and visit one of the masterpieces of the German rococo period – the church “Wieskirche”. Afterwards continue to the Füssen area. Dinner and accommodation in your hotel.

Day 4: Neuschwanstein castle – Lake Constance
After breakfast you will visit the world famous Royal Castle of Neuschwanstein before you continue to Lake Constance, where a local guide will show you the city of Lindau. Dinner and accommodation in the Lake Constance or Black Forest area.

Day 5: Departure after Breakfast
